現在串流盒子也便宜了，幾萬塊就有一台。昨天測了一台HDMI to RTMP，穩定度不錯，然而...

• Chromecast會無法投影，連初始畫面都沒有，是抓不到解析度或是擔心版權問題？Apple TV則OK。
• Video Quality會取巧。選720p，結果resolution不是1280x720，PAR=1，而是選用736x414,，DAR=16:9。pixels少了三倍之多，難怪動態影像會出格狀。
• ffmpeg接其RTMP很穩定，近三個小時不會中斷。
• 一定要連上Internet，在實驗室內測試不上網就無法啟動。可能是查授權吧。
• Web介面時好時壞，很buggy。還是用實體按鈕踏實。

OTT signal hub

衛星電視這行，有種服務是提供衛星上鏈：電視台用專線傳送訊號給衛星公司，該公司接收大家的訊號，uplink到衛星上，然後地面的使用者平台像Cable TV (有線電視)等等，接收衛星訊號再把電視頻道輸送給觀眾。在這樣的結構下，衛星就是個signal hub，是個訊號仲介的生意。

在OTT(Over-the-top)的年代，類似的架構可以通過Internet做到：電視台通過專線或Internet傳送streaming給hub server，hub server再relay或transcode或其他加工，再push or pull給OTT providers。這種服務的彈性要比傳統的衛星relay要大，可以針對內容進行改動(ex. copyrights)與組合。
