Phones with free software

We don't have a freedom-respecting drop-in replacement for the iPhone. Apple's government-subsidized DRM and massive legal intimidation team make developing and distributing a freedom-respecting smartphone very difficult. But we are nonetheless getting closer. You can have a solid, basic smartphone today by running Replicant, a free software version of Android. You can install it yourself on supported models, or buy one pre-installed from Technoethical. You can give the Replicant project a boost, and help them to implement missing features, by donating. Also, check out F-Droid, an app repository of exclusively free software for Android.

VPN for Windows

It's not easy to determine the best VPN for Windows, except those on Windows servers. The most stable one is PPTP but it's really out-dated.  

L2TP/IPsec such as npppd may not work properly on newest Windows. Embedded routers may still work.

OpenVPN may be a more universal across platforms. Noted that Mac, iOS, Android does not need the 'dev tun' line, while Windows or Linux/BSD required. Windows especially needs the 'dev tun' or 'dev tap' exactly the same with that on server! Otherwise WARNING occurs in log and ip cannot be fetched. Keep on waiting TUN/TAP interface...

wireless charging

wireless charging has been dropped from Nexus 5X, and coming with newer iPhone.Google thinks that faster charging of USB Type-C (15min charging to use 7 hours) is more useful. However, battery capacity is the core problem which makes you need to find power outlet or external battery twice a day. wireless charging is thus a more elegant solution while using the second/third charging during day time, while fast charging works like gas station.

Android總是緊跟iOS的發展腳步。近年iOS停滯了，Android基本就跟上了，現在的棉花糖，連App Security都做了，狠狠的鎖住App的可視範圍，基本的安全框架已臻完善。OS的取代性，已有九成，但一些關鍵細節，Android沒有自帶。然而，由此可看到第三方廠商如Samsung的「用心」，唉難怪蘋果要告他。基本可以完全取代了，但價格只有一半甚是三分之一!

1. Mail App。Android自帶Gmail，抄一個好用度不輸Apple Mail的吧。
2. 多國鍵盤。連優雅的排列也抄起來。
3. Calendar, Tasks這些小物。也是必備的喔。
4. Notification ＆ Lock Screen。還沒到iOS那麼整合，但work around算改善很多。
5. 底層再加Security Policy，像SELinux那樣。

方程組投入初始與邊界條件後，若不收斂就會爆掉。除了方程組天生的本質外，適切的條件限制也可能保障其系統穩定。社會上的例子為：

• <<銀河英雄傳說>>這部考古翻新的架空作品，給出的條件是「帝國」：「同盟」：「費沙」= 48 : 40 : 12。這應該有些考究可經驗證的。
• 三國的孫吳與蜀漢只佔東漢十三州的長江以南三州+化外之地。但中原長經戰亂，北邊州郡不若荊襄與天府之國富庶，可能加減一下可以用上述條件解釋之。
• 桌面市占率 Windows : Unix-like = 90 : (9 : 1)。九成的勢利也是各家品牌割據，另10%的小勢力也形成均衡。
• 智慧市場 Android : iOS = 80 : 20 (各地區很不同，約略吧)，看小勢力遠超過10%，市場也形成均衡。
