wireless charging has been dropped from Nexus 5X, and coming with newer iPhone.Google thinks that faster charging of USB Type-C (15min charging to use 7 hours) is more useful. However, battery capacity is the core problem which makes you need to find power outlet or external battery twice a day. wireless charging is thus a more elegant solution while using the second/third charging during day time, while fast charging works like gas station.
